My Approach

I take a thoughtful, collaborative, and compassionate approach to therapy, working to develop a deep understanding of each individual I support. Where relevant, this also includes understanding the broader context of family, relationships, and environment. My aim is to help clients draw on their strengths, values, and internal resources to navigate challenges and create meaningful, lasting change.

I am a neurodiversity-affirming psychologist and strive to create an inclusive, respectful, and empowering space for people of all neurotypes. I also provide an LGBTIQA+ affirming service, and am committed to supporting clients of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and lived experiences with care and sensitivity.

My therapeutic work is guided by a range of evidence-based approaches, which I tailor to the unique needs of each person. These include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Schema Therapy

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)

  • Mindfulness-based approaches

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • In addition to individual therapy, I have experience facilitating group therapy and am trained in parenting programs including Tuning in to Kids and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P).

  •

I also offer learning and cognitive assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, using standardised tools such as the WPPSI, WISC, WAIS, and WIAT to help clarify strengths and areas of support across development, learning, and functioning.
