About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience in the areas of child, adolescent and adult mental health. I have previously worked as a Clinical Psychologist in the following settings:

  • The Royal Children’s Hospital Child and Family Psychology Clinic

  • The Royal Children's Hospital Learning Differences Centre 

  • Austin Health’s Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service and Schools Early Action Program

  • a primary school

  • The Melbourne Clinic Eating Disorders Program

  • Melbourne Children's Psychology Clinic (including the Selective Mutism and Hair Pulling Clinics)

My Approach
​

I place a strong emphasis on a thorough understanding of the individual and where applicable, family, working collaboratively, and helping them to draw on their resources to resolve difficulties. I am neurodiversity affirming in practise. I proudly provide a LGBTIQA+ affirming service.

 

I have experience in a range of therapy and treatment modalities including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, as well as group therapy (with specific training in the parenting programs, Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) and Tuning into Kids). I also have experience in conducting learning and cognitive assessments (including the WPPSI, WISC, WAIS, WIAT and other measures).
