Children

Hi there!

 

I think I have the best job in the whole world. I get to help children just like you when they're feeling sad, worried, angry, or when something big or tricky has happened in their life. You might think of me as a feelings helper or even a bit like a problem solver — someone who works with you to find ways to feel better and handle tricky things in the future.

 

When you come to see me, we’ll talk, play, draw, and do fun and creative activities together. Some days we might chat about what's been going on, and other days we might use toys, games, or art to help express thoughts and feelings. There's no one right way — we’ll figure out what works best for you.

 

You might be wondering a little bit about me too. I'm married and I have two children and two cheeky dogs. I love doing crafts (especially making paper airplanes!) and spending time being creative. I'm also a big Carlton supporter — I’ve followed them my whole life, even when they lose!

 

I'm really looking forward to meeting you and learning all about the things you like too.
