Fees and Rebates
MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT
Clients are charged $250 for a standard 50 minute individual consultation.

Sessions held off-site will incur an additional travel fee.

Clients with a valid referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from a General Practitioner or a Psychiatrist will be eligible for a rebate of $141.85 from Medicare for a maximum of ten sessions in a calendar year. A maximum of two of these sessions may be used for family or carers without the the individual listed on the referral and Plan in attendance.

Clients with private health insurance should check with their respective fund regarding possible Clinical Psychology coverage and the rebate amount.

COGNITIVE AND ACADEMIC ASSESSMENTS
Assessments are charged at a rate of $270 per session for a WISC or WAIS (intelligence/cognitive test) or a WIAT (academic/learning test). Each test will typically require two sessions to administer. An assessment of intelligence and learning abilities (WISC/WAIS and WIAT) will be charged at a rate of $1000 for approximately four sessions. There is an additional fee for a report. There is no Medicare rebate available for these assessment sessions.

CANCELLATION POLICY
When an appointment is booked, I reserve the time specifically for you and therefore have the following cancellation policy. Please provide a minimum of 24 hours to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Notice must be provided only during business hours to not incur a fee, i.e. to reschedule an appointment on a Monday, notice must be provided before the scheduled time on the Friday prior. A fee of 50% of your consultation charge will apply for cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice. The full fee will apply for non-attendance on the day of the appointment.
